Crafted in Sabae, Fukui Prefecture, the heart of Japanese eyewear manufacturing, each frame is cut from rich Italian acetate and assembled with a robust five barrel hinge for lasting strength. The design draws from mid century influences, echoing the confident silhouettes of 1950s and 1960s optical design. The sculpted frame features a pronounced temple line and softened bevels, offering a handcrafted feel and substantial weight. A subtly thicker upper profile enhances the sense of structure, while refined details such as laser engraved hairline accents at the temple tips speak to the quiet precision of its making. The lenses are designed for year round wear, offering balanced protection without excessive darkness, making them equally suited to days of sunlight and softer, overcast conditions.
